The Asus Mothership laptop is like nothing we’ve seen at CES 2019 Asus went to the drawing board to reinvent their 17-inch gaming laptop, and they came back with the ROG Mothership (GZ700). At 10.4 pounds, it’s a hefty laptop, but it packs a potent Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 GPU and an overclocked Intel Core i9-8950HK. But what’s most interesting is the form factor. The keyboard can detach and be reshaped. The laptop can be placed vertically, giving its cooling system more room to breathe. It’s seems more like a Microsoft Surface at times than a gaming laptop, and that’s a good thing.
